About The Position

As a Production Associate, you will help assemble full truck bodies in a hands-on manufacturing role, using precision and care throughout each build. The role includes interpreting blueprints, work orders, and specifications; cutting wood and metal; fastening and assembling parts; operating tools and machinery; and checking completed products for quality and defects. You will follow company safety policies and contribute to a safe, dependable workplace. On-the-job training is provided in basic math, tape measurement, computer skills, use of hand and power tools, and blueprint interpretation. The position offers opportunities to learn and grow, with production leaders promoted from within. The role is located in Janesville, Wisconsin, and pays $21.00–$24.15 per hour.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.

Nice To Haves

Previous manufacturing experience.
Previous experience working on truck bodies.
Construction experience.
High school diploma or equivalent GED.

Responsibilities

Interpret blueprints, work orders, specifications, and safety warnings.
Cut wood and metal using saws, shears, and cutters to specified sizes.
Assemble parts using bolts, screws, rivets, and clips.
Operate pneumatic and hand tools.
Set up machines and perform preventive maintenance.
Inspect finished products for quality and defects.
Conduct safety and quality checks.
Follow company safety policies to protect the team.
Participate in on-the-job training in basic math, tape measurement, computer skills, hand and power tools, and blueprint interpretation.
