About The Position

The Production Associate joins the production team responsible for the appearance and assembly of fall protection equipment. The role involves producing equipment to product specifications, maintaining high quality standards, and achieving production goals. The associate works with team members to sew, assemble, and package products, using an automatic sewing machine as needed. This is a full-time, first-shift position with a Monday–Thursday schedule of 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m. and Friday hours of 6:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Previous experience in manufacturing.
• Strong organization and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with basic model shop tools, sewing machines and procedures, and manufacturing processes.
• Dexterity and hand-eye coordination, including the ability to grasp, manipulate, and assemble parts and components.
• Ability to perform repetitive work and stand or sit for long periods.
• Ability to sit, stand, bend, twist, and walk through the production area throughout the work shift.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand workmanship standards and verbal instructions.
• Operate an automatic sewing machine.
• Inspect output to ensure the highest quality.
• Work with production team members to assemble or sew products using an automatic sewing machine.
• Assemble or package products as necessary.
• Use reasoning to solve problems as they arise and follow safety guidelines.
