About The Position

Cornerstone Building Brands is hiring a Production Associate for its Fortify Building Solutions business, which serves the pre-engineered metal buildings, metal roof and wall systems, and steel building components industry. The role operates CNC-controlled production machinery in a fast-paced setting, with an emphasis on safety and quality. Starting pay is $18.25 per hour. The listed first-shift hours are 5:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., though hours may vary depending on operations.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Basic Microsoft knowledge.
Ability to read a tape measure, write, and follow posted schedules.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds continually, above shoulder height and below the waist.
Must be at least 18 years of age to apply.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in a related area.
Experience with a side forklift, bander, nail gun, overhead crane, saws, stretch wrap machine, and various pneumatic equipment.

Responsibilities

Operate CNC-controlled machines, including presses, lasers, and rolling mills, in a fast-paced production setting while emphasizing safety and quality.
Utilize scanning equipment.
Visually inspect work for defects according to quality standards.

Provide cost-saving suggestions and ideas to improve production and eliminate waste.
