This role involves setting up and testing units per procedures using automated and non-automated equipment, identifying electronic components, documenting results, and troubleshooting. The position requires good computer skills and the ability to work well in a team environment. As required, responsibilities may include compiling and validating test results and logs, and completing documentation for cycle time/performance analysis.

Requirements

High school education or equivalent
Ability to read and understand test procedures
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Good computer skills
Works well in team environment
Experience testing PCBs

Nice To Haves

IPC-A-610 certification preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

Set up and test units per procedures using automated equipment
Identification of proper equipment to be used
Properly fill out production documentation
Notify Electronic Technician of non-conforming units or test fixtures
Identify electronic components (polarity, incorrect part, etc.)
Rotate to different workstations and different cells as needed
Documents pass/fail results and troubleshoot information in the MES System (Vision)
As required – compile and validate test results and test logs for customer and regulatory requirements
As required – complete hour-by-hour forms or other documentation for cycle time/performance analysis
Set-up and test units per procedures using correct equipment
Use of non-automated equipment when necessary (DMM, Oscilloscope, etc.)
