About The Position

We are hiring a 1st Shift Production Associate for our Powder Coating Department. This position will primarily support our blast booth and powder coating operations but will also assist in other production departments as needed. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety in their day and wants to learn multiple areas of manufacturing. Previous manufacturing experience is preferred but not required — we are willing to train the right candidate.

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. consistently
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Comfortable working in a warm environment
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality
• Ability to work well on a team
• Willingness to be cross-trained and work in multiple departments as needed

Nice To Haves

• Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred, but not required
• Forklift or lift experience is a plus
• Powder coating or sandblasting experience is a plus, but willing to train the right candidate

Responsibilities

• Sandblasting parts in blast booth
• Powder coating parts
• Loading and unloading parts on a moving track system
• Preparing parts for coating or finishing
• Inspecting parts to ensure quality standards are met
• Packaging finished product
• Assisting with basic product assembly or other production areas as needed
• Operating a forklift or lift (if qualified)
• Keeping work area clean and following all safety procedures
