About The Position

We are looking for a talented Production Associate - Level I to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Cummins Inc. facility in Rocky Mount, NC. In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: Championing Safe Work Practices — Stopping unsafe work, reporting hazards immediately, and using proper PPE to strengthen an interdependent, injury‑free workplace. Supporting Environmental Responsibility — Recognizing how daily tasks affect the environment and taking steps to minimize negative impact. Maintaining High Quality Standards — Following standard work, documentation, and quality procedures to prevent defects and reduce cost exposure. Managing Non‑Conforming Material — Identifying, containing, and escalating non‑conforming materials to protect product integrity. Delivering Reliable Production Output — Operating manual and automated equipment at the required cycle time to meet production goals and customer expectations. Maintaining Equipment and Work Areas — Performing routine housekeeping, cleaning, and operator‑level maintenance to support equipment reliability and reduce downtime. Collaborating Effectively With Teams — Communicating clearly with peers, skilled trades, and support teams to keep operations aligned and issues resolved. Contributing to Continuous Improvement — Participating in efforts that enhance safety, quality, material flow, and employee development.
