Production Associate IIII (Machine Operator, 7pm-7am)
About The Position
This position is for a Production Associate IIII (Machine Operator) on the B Shift, working from 7pm to 7am, Monday through Thursday. Hours are subject to change, and flexibility for evening and overnight shifts is required. The primary responsibility is the operation of the Hedgemat Line, assisting the Supervisor by managing the day-to-day activities of the Hedgemat production team. The goal is to work safely, produce quality products, meet customer requirements, adhere to current standard work practices, and continuously strive to improve standard work and develop a continuous improvement culture within the organization.
Requirements
- Able to run production line as an Operator
- Operate fork truck / scissor lift (being comfortable with heights required)
- Capable of using software packages such as SyteLine / Shipping / Receiving / Excel
- Adhere to New Pig’s Safety, Environmental, and Quality standards

Responsibilities
- Operation of the Hedgemat Line
- Assist the Supervisor by managing the day-to-day activities of the Hedgemat production team
- Work safely, produce quality products, meet customer requirements, and adhere to current standard work practices
- Continuously strive to improve standard work and develop a continuous improvement culture
- Run production line as an Operator
- Operate fork truck / scissor lift
- Use software packages such as SyteLine / Shipping / Receiving / Excel
- Perform department operation procedures that may include assembly, filling and packaging products
- Adhere to and meet quality standards, as well as adjust the process to meet quality standards if necessary
- Perform quality checks and collect quality data as needed
- Enter production quantities and material usage into computer-based system
- Perform all other production-related duties as assigned or directed
- Adhere to New Pig’s Safety, Environmental, and Quality standards
- Actively participate on the process improvement team
- Exemplify New Pig’s core values
- Support and follow company policies and procedures
- Help maintain a positive work environment
- Respond promptly to all communications
- All other duties as assigned
