About The Position

We are seeking an associate for third shift to step up as a PAIII when needed. This role involves assisting the Production Supervisor, performing process audits, conducting start-up meetings, and ensuring efficient workflow. The associate will also be responsible for quality control, training new employees, monitoring safety, and completing necessary paperwork. A key aspect of this role is demonstrating leadership traits and maintaining excellent attendance.

Requirements

Cannot be on a Performance Improvement Plan.
Demonstrate excellent attendance on a consistent basis.
Demonstrate consistent leadership traits.
Able to communicate clearly and train others on various tasks.
Proficiency in operating all machinery and equipment in the production area.
Willingness to gain proficiency in all areas of the production floor (Bench, Bagging, Large-Pack, etc.).
Understanding of quality processes (VCI rules, non-conforming product).
Ability to maintain minimum quality issues (no more than 1 external within the prior 6 months).

Responsibilities

Assist Production Supervisor in directing the work of others in the production area.
Perform daily process audits in production.
Perform required start up and end of shift procedures.
Conduct start-up meetings with Production and/or Operations Manager approval.
Sign off on forms per location and perform other duties per WI-PRO-03.
Lead and conduct training to support the supervisor.
Ensure all proper materials and parts are present on the lines before a new order is started.
Set up and organize lines for efficient workflow.
Minimize job set up time during changeovers.
Pull Floor Stock Items.
Demonstrate working understanding of the quality processes (example: VCI rules, non-conforming product).
Maintain minimum quality issues (no more than 1 external within the prior 6 months).
Inform supervisor of problems with work orders in a timely manner.
Maintain proficiency in performing all tasks required by Production Associates in the area.
Demonstrate proficiency in operating all machinery and equipment in the production area.
Gain proficiency in all areas of the production floor i.e. Bench, Bagging, Large-Pack, etc.
Assist in training new employees assigned to the area.
Monitor safety in operating equipment and provide correction or re-training when needed.
Observe proper wear of PPE and replacement or disposal.
Complete all required paperwork and production sheets legibly and correctly.
Ensure materials are correct to the work order and provided to the proper individual.
Monitor work speed and timeliness of order completion.
Consistently observe the production floor ensuring safe work practices.
Demonstrate consistent leadership traits.
Communicate clearly and train others on various tasks.
Demonstrate excellent attendance on a consistent basis.
Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
