About The Position

Responsible for production and quality of assigned advanced operations. This role involves training and supporting new production associates. The Production Associate II will perform production operations according to established methods, often involving more advanced tasks such as drilling or countersinking. They will interpret blueprints and work instructions, operate production equipment, and ensure the quality of finished parts meets requirements. Additionally, the role includes completing production-related paperwork, documenting part counts in the ERP system, participating in CI and Lean activities, providing guidance to junior team members, cross-training in other production areas, and maintaining work area cleanliness.

Requirements

High School Diploma/GED.
3+ years of comparable experience.
Ability to read and write English.
Proficiency with shop math.
Working knowledge of measuring equipment.
Ability to read blueprints as required.
Basic computer skills.
Knowledge of Lean principles and practices.

Responsibilities

Perform production operations according to established methods, including advanced operations like drilling or countersinking.
Interpret blueprints and/or other diagrams and work instructions to perform production tasks.
Operate production equipment in a variety of areas on the shop floor.
Ensure part finish quality is to requirements.
Complete production-related paperwork and signoffs as required.
Document part counts in ERP system.
Participate in CI and Lean-related activities.
Provide guidance to junior members of the team.
Cross train and act as backup in other production areas.
Maintain cleanliness of the work area.
