About The Position
Join the Control Assemblies Team - Shape the Future of Automation! Control Assemblies is seeking a talented Production Assistant to join our dynamic team in Plymouth, MN. The Production Assistant supports daily manufacturing operations by assisting with material handling, equipment setup, documentation, and general production tasks. This role ensures smooth workflow on the production floor and helps maintain quality, safety, and efficiency standards.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic math and communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing.
- Experience with basic hand tools or production machinery.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the setup, operation, and cleanup of production equipment and workstations.
- Prepare materials and supplies for production runs.
- Monitor production processes and report any issues to supervisors.
- Maintain accurate records of production data, materials used and completed work.
- Support quality control by inspecting products and packaging.
- Keep the production area clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or team leads.
