About The Position

Reporting to the Press Production Supervisor, the Production Assistant is responsible for a range of tasks throughout production to assist with the day to day operations of the company.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to understand and work with production equipment.
Proven ability to support, implement, and sustain Continuous Improvement and Lean manufacturing principles.

Responsibilities

Assist with production, plating, and shipping operations as required.
Follow established operating procedures and job-specific instructions to ensure quality and efficiency.
Perform minor machine adjustments to maintain optimal performance.
Conduct in-process inspections to verify product quality standards.
Identify and report non-conformance in raw materials or processes to the supervisor and participate in corrective actions.
Interpret technical drawings and specifications as required.
Perform routine preventive maintenance on equipment.
Report any equipment malfunctions promptly to minimize downtime.
Actively contribute as a member of the production team.
Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and quality.
Perform other duties as assigned within the department or support other production areas as needed based on priority requirements
