About The Position

This role is responsible for the security and safe operation of the vehicle and other assigned equipment. The Production Assistant - Truck Driver, Non CDL will also be responsible for daily vehicle inspections, reporting any issues, maintaining cleanliness of the truck cab and box, and planning daily routing to ensure all scheduled pick-ups and calls are completed.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license (Non-CDL)
• Ability to perform daily walk-around inspections of the vehicle.
• Ability to report accidents and complete necessary paperwork.
• Ability to maintain a clean truck cab and box.
• Ability to plan daily routing.
• Must be able to report problems immediately to the supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the security and safe operation of the vehicle and other assigned equipment.
• Properly report to immediate supervisor all accidents involving the truck, personal injury or property damage and complete all necessary paperwork.
• Perform daily walk around inspection of vehicle, checking air, water, oil, and other items to maintain equipment in good operating condition.
• Report any problems immediately to the supervisor.
• Ensure truck cab and box are clean and personal items are removed daily.
• Plan daily routing based on pick up assigned and make all calls scheduled including boxes.
