About The Position

This role is responsible for the security and safe operation of the vehicle and other assigned equipment. The Production Assistant - Truck Driver will also be responsible for daily vehicle inspections, reporting any issues, maintaining cleanliness of the truck cab and box, and planning daily routing for pickups.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license (Non-CDL)
• Ability to perform daily walk-around inspections of the vehicle.
• Ability to check vehicle fluids (air, water, oil).
• Ability to report accidents and complete necessary paperwork.
• Ability to plan daily routing.
• Ability to maintain a clean truck cab and box.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the security and safe operation of the vehicle and other assigned equipment.
• Properly report all accidents involving the truck, personal injury, or property damage to the immediate supervisor and complete all necessary paperwork.
• Perform daily walk-around inspections of the vehicle, checking air, water, oil, and other items to maintain equipment in good operating condition.
• Report any vehicle problems immediately to the supervisor.
• Ensure the truck cab and box are clean and personal items are removed daily.
• Plan daily routing based on assigned pickups and make all scheduled calls, including pickups from boxes.
