About The Position

As a Production Assembler with John Deere Dubuque Works, you will perform a variety of assembly operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role emphasizes safety, quality, and teamwork, while supporting the production of world-class equipment.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
High School Diploma or G.E.D.
National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC)
At least 3 years of manufacturing work experience
Ability to perform manual tasks related to described job duties for duration of work shift – with or without reasonable accommodation; including but not limited to frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and performing of repetitive actions.
Ability and willingness to work any shift and potential overtime (including weekends).

Nice To Haves

At least 1 year of assembly experience in a manufacturing or production environment
Experience using a variety of hand tools and power tools
At least 1 year of experience assembling vehicle or heavy equipment components
Previous experience operating a forklift or other powered industrial equipment

Responsibilities

Assemble parts or components to specification.
Read and comprehend work instructions and follow established procedures.
Utilize manufacturing tools to record data and keep records for quality and maintenance.
Check results for conformance to specifications and make necessary corrections.
Operate power driven equipment such as forklifts and industrial trucks to move material, parts, and equipment.
Use various types of tools and equipment to perform work - including but not limited to hand and power tools, testing and runoff equipment, ladders, hoists, fixtures, jigs, and gages.
Lubricate, check, and clean work equipment and tooling.
Assist and support other team members.
Clean work area and perform other miscellaneous duties inherent to the job.
