As a Material Handler with John Deere Thibodaux, you will process orders in a timely manner to support factory operations in a production environment focused on safety, quality, and teamwork. Job details are dependent on duties assigned but in general consist of the following: Load, unload, and move materials. Comprehend verbal and/or written work instructions and follow established procedures. Operate power driven equipment such as forklifts and industrial trucks to move material, parts, and equipment. Assist and support other team members. Clean work area and perform other miscellaneous duties inherent to the job.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
High School Diploma or G.E.D.
National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC)
At least 3 years of manufacturing work experience
Ability to perform manual tasks related to described job duties for duration of work shift; including but not limited to frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and performing of repetitive actions.
Ability and willingness to work any shift and potential overtime (including weekends).

Nice To Haves

Minimum of 1 year of forklift operator; high-reach experience within a manufacturing setting
