About The Position

The Production Assembly role sets up and operates assembly equipment, rotates among work cells as directed by a Supervisor or Cell Leader, and packs finished products for shipment. The position maintains a safe, clean work area, participates in identifying and implementing cell improvements, and performs work in accordance with established quality standards. The role is assigned to A Shift, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Requirements

• Proficient English reading and writing skills, including the ability to read and understand MSDS sheets and standard work instructions.
• At least 1 year of experience in an assembly or lean manufacturing environment.
• Manual dexterity and mechanical proficiency.
• Ability to use various hand and power tools and read measuring devices.

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma or GED is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate assembly equipment, including small hydraulic presses, staking equipment, small drill presses, welding machines, air drivers, spin riveters, and winders.
• Rotate to other work cells as instructed by a Supervisor or Cell Leader.
• Pack finished product for shipment.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area.
• Actively participate in making and implementing cell improvements.
• Perform duties in accordance with established quality standards.
