About The Position

Production Assemblers are responsible for performing entry-level duties necessary for the assembly of coolers or sub-assemblies and final production line duties. Production Assemblers contribute to the continuous improvement of the manufacturing facility in the following areas: Safety, Quality, and Productivity. This role involves using hand tools and portable power tools, standard measuring instruments, jigs, fixtures, and simple gauges. Responsibilities also include cleaning and crating units, performing quality work within deadlines, and interacting professionally with other employees as a team contributor or working independently.

Requirements

  • Ability to learn parts and prints.
  • Ability to use small hand tools.
  • Satisfactory small motor skills.
  • Satisfactory short-term memory skills.
  • Ability to receive and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

  • Perform entry-level duties necessary for the assembly of coolers or sub-assemblies and final production line duties.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the manufacturing facility in the areas of safety, quality, and productivity.
  • Wear proper PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
  • Identify safety hazards and report any safety concerns.
  • Lift 5-50lbs as part of the job function.
  • Verify quality on a continuing basis.
  • Identify and record any issues relating to product, processes, and/or quality.
  • Initiate, recommend, or provide solutions through appropriate channels.
  • Use hand tools and portable power tools.
  • Use standard measuring instruments, jigs, fixtures, and simple gauges.
  • Clean and crate units.
  • Perform quality work within deadlines with or without direct supervision.
  • Interact professionally with other employees.
  • Work effectively as a team contributor on all assignments.
  • Work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employees.
