About The Position

MITER Brands is seeking a Production Assembler for their 2nd shift, working from 3pm to 11:30pm. This role involves assembling panel components using hand and power tools, following detailed instructions and diagrams to construct frames. The assembler will also conduct quality checks, sort materials, operate an up-cut saw, and collaborate with team members to achieve production goals. Adherence to safety protocols and demonstrating MITER Brands Guiding Principles are essential. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• Ability to read and interpret production specifications and drawings.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to prioritize tasks.
• Basic computer literacy and ability to learn new software programs.
• Great interpersonal skills are essential to operate in and maintain a team environment.
• Great communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift and move components weighing up to 50 pounds.
• The ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Frequent walking and bending are required.
• Requires adherence to safety protocols and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as necessary.

Nice To Haves

• 1-3 years of previous experience in manufacturing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble panel components using hand tools and power tools, such as drills, impact drivers, and grinders to assist in the assembly process.
• Follow detailed assembly instructions and diagrams to accurately construct frames.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure that products meet specified standards and are free from damage or defects.
• Sort and organize materials and components needed for frame assembly.
• Operate up cut saw safely and efficiently.
• Work closely with other team members to achieve production goals and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe and organized work environment.
• Demonstrate MITER Brands Guiding Principles in all business interactions.
