About The Position

Wilson Trailer is hiring full-time Production Assemblers for its second shift. The role is in a manufacturing setting and involves using handheld tools to assemble products, following production and print orders, and maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work area. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 5:00 p.m. to 3:30 a.m. The position offers a $1.00-per-hour shift differential, an attractive starting wage with scheduled increases, and a full benefits package. Some overtime is mandatory. Applicants must complete a pre-employment drug test and background check.

Requirements

• High school graduate or GED.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Good attendance.
• Willingness to learn and enjoy working with others in a busy workplace.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate clearly and concisely in English.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job.
• Ability to follow safety rules and regulations.
• Ability to report to work punctually at the beginning of the workday.
• Ability to access, input, and retrieve information from a computer, including using a keyboard and mouse or alternative input device.
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment, including protective eyewear, hearing protection, hardhat, safety-toe boots, and protective gloves.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Inspect hoist chains and all tools used to ensure they are safe.
• Use a huck gun, drill, and other handheld tools.
• Read and understand production and print orders.
• Read and understand a tape measure.
• Keep the work area clean and organized.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
