About The Position

You will perform routine mechanical and electromechanical assembly to help the team meet production and quality goals. You’ll work primarily onsite on 2nd shift with a M–Th 3:30PM–2:00AM schedule, collaborating with technicians and supervisors to maintain safe, efficient operations. Your work ensures components are assembled and tested to specification, supporting downstream manufacturing and delivery.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of relevant assembly or related experience
• Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to identify issues and take corrective action
• Capacity and willingness to learn new tasks and processes
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational training or apprenticeship experience a plus
• Good mechanical aptitude, manual dexterity for small parts, and ability to operate hand tools and light machinery
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating/manufacturing instructions, policies, and procedures
• Basic math skills and ability to problem-solve using existing procedures

Responsibilities

• Perform routine mechanical and electromechanical assembly of small parts or components per work instructions and procedures
• Review shop traveler/route cards or simple schematics to confirm correct sequence of operations
• Position very small parts using tweezers or fixtures under a binocular microscope and perform fine soldering and wire alignment
• Bond or seal parts with epoxies and use direct heating elements or ovens as required
• Conduct in-process testing and follow safety policies and procedures
• Maintain regular, consistent, and punctual attendance; work nights, weekends, variable schedules, or additional hours as needed
