You will work closely with the manufacturing team and quality/station leads to follow work instructions and complete assemblies on a first shift, onsite schedule (Monday–Friday, 5:00am–1:30pm). Your role ensures the team meets throughput and quality standards while following documented processes.

Requirements

  • Assembler experience
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints or basic schematic/traveler documentation
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1–2 years of relevant experience
  • Good mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity for working with small parts
  • Ability to operate hand tools and light machinery
  • Basic math skills and ability to follow safety rules, operating/manufacturing instructions, policies, and procedures
  • Vocational training, apprenticeships, or equivalent practical experience

Nice To Haves

  • Aerospace experience
  • Sewing experience or willingness to learn industrial sewing machine use
  • Troubleshooting knowledge

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine mechanical and electromechanical assembly of small parts or components per instructions and procedures
  • Review shop traveler/route cards or basic schematic drawings to confirm correct sequence of operations
  • Position and handle very small parts (using tweezers, fixtures, or microscopes) and solder or bond components as required
  • Adjust, bend, align, and solder fine wires to resistors and base parts; perform in-process testing
  • Bond or seal assemblies with epoxies and use ovens or direct heating elements when required
  • Follow all safety policies and maintain regular, consistent, and punctual attendance
  • Be prepared for variable scheduling needs, including potential nights, weekends, or additional hours
