About The Position

This is an onsite role on a 1st Shift schedule (Monday–Friday, 5:00am–1:30pm). You will perform routine mechanical and electromechanical assembly to help the team produce reliable components. You will work closely with manufacturing leads and quality inspectors to follow shop travelers and ensure correct assembly sequence. This role offers the opportunity to get your foot in the door at a well-established corporation, with potential for extended or permanent full-time employment.

Requirements

• Ability to follow basic directions
• Blueprint reading skills
• 1–2 years of relevant experience
• Good mechanical aptitude, manual dexterity, and ability to operate hand tools and light machinery
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating/manufacturing instructions, policies, and procedures
• Basic math and effective oral, written, and interpersonal skills

Nice To Haves

• Some tool knowledge
• Familiarity with high pressure systems

Responsibilities

• Perform routine mechanical and electromechanical assembly of small parts or components per company instructions and procedures
• Review shop traveler/route cards or simple schematics to confirm sequence of operations
• Position very small parts using binocular microscope, tweezers, or fixtures
• Adjust, bend, align, and solder fine wires to resistors and base parts
• Bond or seal parts/assemblies with epoxies and perform in-process testing
• Demonstrate and follow all safety policies and procedures
• Maintain regular, consistent, and punctual attendance; may work variable schedules, nights, or weekends as needed
