About The Position

At Lakeshirts, we're more than just a company-we're a vibe. Born in the heart of Detroit Lakes, MN, we've grown into one of the largest privately-owned screen-printing manufacturers in the U.S. Our team creates over 40,000 garments daily for the resort, licensed collegiate, and K-12 markets. From our humble beginnings to now, we've embraced a unique culture that blends creativity, dedication, and a love for what we do. As a Floor Support Lead, you'll play a key role in ensuring on-time delivery from art to production, as well as maintaining art standards across all divisions. This position is essential to keeping our production running smoothly and efficiently. You'll need a can-do attitude with the ability to flex and adapt in a fast-paced environment, stellar organizational and people skills to keep the floor moving, and the energy to motivate your team. A healthy dose of enthusiasm and patience is key, as you'll be the glue that keeps everything together. If you're a creative, servant-leadership driven individual who thrives in a collaborative, high-energy environment, this could be your perfect fit. Joining us means becoming part of a culture where life's truly better in a t-shirt.

Requirements

  • A 2- or 4-year degree in Graphic Design is recommended, with proficiency and solid experience in Adobe Illustrator
  • Completion of Lakeshirts' Train the Trainer program is preferred, but not required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word is helpful, but not a deal breaker

  • Strong independent decision-making skills, with the ability to use sound reasoning and good judgment
  • Welcoming of change, NIMBLE and open-minded, with the ability to embrace and drive Continuous Improvement- it's in our DNA
  • An ability to recognize our culture, contribute to it, and be a part of it; big egos, game players, "me firsts", entitled, and other such traits need not apply-we kind of mean it
  • Reliable, responsible, flexible-you adapt, show up, and get the job done with precision
  • Comfortable handling multiple interruptions without missing a beat, and you always follow through
  • Excellent communication skills-both written and oral, you're a pro at getting the message across in a clear and approachable way
  • Must love dogs (we kinda like them at our MN headquarters, and we hope you do, too)
  • Must love tees, (and hats...and stickers...and novelty socks)
  • Employees must be able to see and hear, read and write.
  • Requires adaptability, analyzing, assessing, calculating, decision-making, dependability, judgment, reading, speaking, following direction, handling multiple priorities, and reasoning.
