This position is responsible for communicating both oral and written text from one language to another in a variety of contexts to retain content, meaning, and feeling of the material. The role involves carefully listening to or reading content including jargon and acronyms in the original language, understanding and analyzing what is being said or written, and effectively and accurately translating the message, intent, and nuances being communicated. The team member will reproduce statements or questions in the desired output language, facilitate effective communication among all levels of the organization, and assist Human Resources in departmental responsibilities such as recruitment, interviewing, on-boarding, HR Orientation, benefit communication, investigations, and discipline. Additionally, this role will support Team Member Development with communication to ensure understanding of all classroom training, FIA processes and procedures, and hands-on instruction. The team member will also translate training documents, policies, procedures, and presentations as requested, and work with Team Leaders and Supervisors on the floor to communicate job issues or changes. Protecting the confidentiality of information and adhering to any related ethical or professional codes is crucial. The team member will perform all other duties as assigned.
