About The Position

Weyerhaeuser is seeking an Administrative Assistant for their Monticello, AR Engineered Wood Products (EWP) facility. This is a full-time, salaried non-exempt position reporting to the Finance Manager. This role supports financial, administrative, and front office functions while partnering with Production, Finance, Procurement, and HR teams to ensure accurate records, strong internal controls, and efficient day-to-day operations. During the initial phase, this role will support a mill that is currently under construction. Responsibilities will be dynamic and ad hoc in nature, with a focus on supporting site startup activities, building foundational processes, and ensuring administrative and financial readiness for operations. In the long-term, the role will provide operational support, maintain tracking systems and records with compliance requirements, provide administrative support for HR functions, support mill operations and internal coordination, prepare reports, presentations, and communications, perform payroll audits and provide support, assist in maintaining internal controls, coordinate donations and promotional requests, complete month-end administrative responsibilities, and provide front office and visitor coverage as needed.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED
  • 3 or more years of relevant experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Professional handling of confidential information
  • Self-starter with strong teamwork mindset

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s degree or higher
  • HR or payroll experience
  • Experience with UKG, SAP, and/or Concur
  • Manufacturing environment experience

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and project coordination support to mill leadership
  • Assist in establishing administrative, HR, payroll, and financial processes
  • Support onboarding and hiring logistics for new employees
  • Maintain documentation for startup activities and compliance
  • Support cross-functional startup teams
  • Assist with tracking startup-related costs and invoices
  • Coordinate meetings and communications
  • Support ad hoc requests to ensure successful mill startup
  • Maintain tracking systems and records with compliance requirements
  • Provide administrative support for HR functions
