About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a manufacturing facility and possess a strong understanding of material handling. As an Operator, you will be responsible for operating forklifts, sanitizing, and maintaining a safe work environment. This is a full-time, contract position with a pay rate of $20.00 - $22.00 per hour.

Requirements

Fluency in English and ability to follow directions and procedures effectively.
Basic math skills, including arithmetic operations and working with fractions and decimals.
Minimum age requirement of 18 years old.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Completion of applicable Sanitizing and MCP training programs/tests.
Ability to operate electric forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
Ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs and multitask effectively.

Responsibilities

Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of compounding tanks and equipment.
Clean and sanitize tanks, hoses, pumps, and totes according to priority or production requirements.
Adhere to MCP standards and regulatory requirements for tank cleaning and sanitizing.
Maintain compliance with Apex and government regulations during cleaning processes.
Safely and efficiently transfer products.
Record weights for totes and drums accurately and stage them for warehouse locations.
Transfer bulk fills into designated vessels and complete shipment paperwork accurately.
Document cleaning and sanitizing activities.
Record all tank, tote, and equipment cleaning and sanitizing in designated logs promptly.
Process excess inventory transactions accurately and efficiently.
Foster a culture of lean action.
Implement and uphold standards and processes to eliminate waste in the department.
Utilize lean tools to drive continuous improvements.
Institutionalize 5-S principles for organizational efficiency.
Embrace Lean thinking and actively seek opportunities to reduce waste.
Perform other assigned tasks as needed.
