About The Position

Plans, develops, and coordinates in-house product training programs for field support personnel and customers. Obtains information needed to prepare in-house training programs; prepares training materials; develops course content; determines methodology; and coordinates the development of training aids. Conducts training sessions and develops criteria for evaluating effectiveness of training activities. May utilize trainers with technical expertise. Continuously revises lesson plans to meet new training requirements and to keep technical information up to date.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree and 6 years of exempt experience; Master's degree and 4 year of exempt experience
NNS Apprentice School graduate
High school and 5 years combined manufacturing, shipbuilding, trades, military experience or other relevant non-exempt experience
Graduation from Navy Nuclear Power School
6 years of relevant manufacturing, shipbuilding, trade and/or military experience

Quick-reference tools such as checklists, flowcharts, or quick guides help employees perform tasks efficiently without overwhelming them with details

Communicate to convey information clearly, facilitate teamwork, and mediate conflicts among team members and stakeholders
Ability to analyze issues and develop effective solutions to overcoming challenges that arise during projects
Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and requirements in the dynamic environment of project
Prioritize tasks, manage schedules, and ensure that projects are completed on time
