About The Position

Plans, develops, and coordinates in-house product training programs for field support personnel and customers. Obtains information needed to prepare training programs, prepares training materials, develops course content, determines instructional methodology, and coordinates development of training aids. Conducts training sessions and develops criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of training activities. May utilize trainers with technical expertise. Continuously revises lesson plans to meet new training requirements and keep technical information up to date.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree and 6 years of exempt experience, or a master's degree and 4 years of exempt experience.
A bachelor's degree may be replaced by an NNS Apprentice School graduate credential; high school education plus 5 years of combined manufacturing, shipbuilding, trades, military, or other relevant non-exempt experience; or graduation from Navy Nuclear Power School.
The required exempt experience may be replaced, in addition to the education requirement, by 6 years of relevant manufacturing, shipbuilding, trade, and/or military experience.
U.S. citizenship is required for this position.
