About The Position

Imerys is seeking a Product Sustainability Intern to support its product sustainability program by conducting cradle-to-gate Life Cycle Assessments (LCAs) for mineral-based products. The internship is based in Roswell, Georgia, on a hybrid basis, and runs from January through December, with part-time work during school semesters. The intern will map products’ environmental footprints from extraction through the factory gate, lead technical LCA work, and facilitate workshops to align sustainability efforts with global market needs.

The role includes collecting site-specific data, modeling product flows and environmental impacts using Holis software, integrating results into Group-wide systems, and preparing LCA cards and Ecoprofiles for product families. The intern will also help organize market-alignment workshops and create internal educational materials explaining the business value and environmental importance of LCAs.

Requirements

• Coursework in life cycle assessments.
• Pursuing a degree or a recent graduate in environmental science, engineering, data science, sustainability, or a related field.
• Ability to understand and analyze large data sets.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must not require visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities
