About The Position

Monroe Tractor is a family-owned construction and agricultural equipment dealer with more than 75 years of experience serving customers across the northeastern United States. The Product Support Representative (PSR) is an experienced outside parts sales representative in the heavy equipment industry. The role establishes long-lasting customer relationships while offering parts and service support, helping customers make Monroe Tractor their one-stop shop for equipment needs. The position manages an assigned territory and works directly with equipment owners, fleet managers, and service teams.

Requirements

Proven experience in outside sales, preferably in agriculture, automotive, or heavy equipment.
Strong mechanical aptitude, including understanding how machines work and communicating with technicians and operators.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Self-motivated, able to work independently and manage own schedule.
Proficiency with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools and basic Microsoft Office applications.
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.

Responsibilities

Manage and grow an assigned territory by visiting customers on-site, understanding their operations, and identifying parts sales opportunities.
Develop strong, consultative relationships with equipment owners, fleet managers, and service teams.
Proactively identify and recommend parts and service solutions to improve equipment performance and reduce downtime.
Prepare and deliver accurate quotes, process orders, resolve product and customer concerns, and schedule timely deliveries.
Track sales activity, customer interactions, and opportunities in CRM software.
