As a Financial Program Lead within the gUP Platforms and Devices Cross Business Unit (BU) Support you will lead the Cost Savings Governance process for Google Platforms and Devices support organization by aligning support activities with financial and regulatory requirements. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve cost accuracy and ensure a consistent financial approach across the organization. You will serve as the connective tissue for the gUP Platforms and Devices team, ensuring all teams follow a similar process in terms of financial reporting and are able to share with stakeholders progress toward the financial goals. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in a project management, consulting, or a customer-facing role with finance reporting dimension.
  • Experience working in an organization and partnering with multiple teams across different functions.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and lead a cost savings governance process monitoring Google Platforms and Devices support related activities.
  • Work with Support, Finance and Operations teams to align from a financial perspective with all regulatory needs and make business decisions.
  • Ensure alignment with other finance Full-Time Employees (FTEs) in gUP teams and ensure consistency of approaches across gUP. Ensure work drivers are documented using existing centralized tools and processes to assess financial performance and attribute cost accurately.
  • Manage product area teams requests to improve cost prediction/cost savings accuracy.
  • Increase product vertical support teams confidence in their ability to communicate gUP's operational and strategic excellence to stakeholders.
