Product Support Engineer
About The Position
DPP is seeking a Product Support Engineer for a 12-month W2 contract opportunity with a client in the Aerospace and Defense industry. The position is onsite in Englewood, Colorado. Candidates must be U.S. citizens and able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. The Product Support Engineer will learn to provide technical support and troubleshooting for product and system prototypes. The role assists with assessing customer needs and identifying appropriate technical solutions for concept and prototype products and systems. Technical work includes supporting product installation and testing, detecting and correcting errors or defects, and coordinating appropriate corrective actions with engineers and operators.
Requirements
- Exposure to wireless networks, tactical communications, and personal computers.
- Communication and customer interface skills.
- Familiarity with system-level maintenance of networks and communications systems.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field of study or typically 0–2 or more years of related experience.
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
Nice To Haves
- Working knowledge of operating military units and logistics.
- Familiarity with networks and integration of traditional communications systems and sensors.
- Ability to read schematics, use service manuals, follow test procedures, and apply logical troubleshooting techniques.
- Experience with RF, vehicle installation, and maintenance procedures.
- Background in the Aerospace and Defense industry, government, or the U.S. military.
- Leadership experience in a military or civilian organization.
