About The Position

We are sharing a specialised part-time consulting opportunity for experienced product management professionals with strong expertise in product strategy, roadmap planning, PRD development, prioritisation, and cross-functional product execution. This role focuses on reviewing professional documents, spreadsheets, and presentation materials related to product management workflows. Selected experts will assess outputs for strategic quality, completeness, analytical rigour, execution logic, and overall professional credibility.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience in product management, product strategy, product operations, product leadership, or a closely related function
  • Strong hands-on experience developing or reviewing product roadmaps and PRDs
  • Demonstrated experience making prioritisation and product-strategy decisions
  • Strong understanding of product discovery, requirements definition, metrics, and cross-functional execution
  • Ability to assess whether product decisions are supported by appropriate evidence and reasoning
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
  • Advanced proficiency with PowerPoint / Google Slides
  • Strong spreadsheet and analytical skills
  • Native or professional fluency in English
  • Excellent written communication and ability to provide precise, structured feedback
  • Strong attention to strategic, analytical, and presentation detail

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate product strategies for clarity, coherence, and alignment with business and customer objectives
  • Assess whether recommendations are supported by appropriate evidence and assumptions
  • Identify strategic gaps, weak prioritisation logic, and unsupported conclusions
  • Review trade-offs across customer value, business impact, feasibility, and execution complexity
  • Apply experienced product judgement to realistic product-management scenarios
  • Review product roadmaps for sequencing, prioritisation, dependencies, and strategic alignment
  • Assess whether roadmap decisions appropriately balance near-term delivery and longer-term objectives
  • Identify missing dependencies, unrealistic timelines, and poorly justified priorities
  • Evaluate whether roadmap items connect clearly to customer, business, or platform needs
  • Distinguish meaningful product strategy from feature-list planning
  • Evaluate Product Requirements Documents for completeness, clarity, and execution readiness
  • Review problem statements, goals, requirements, assumptions, constraints, and success metrics
  • Identify ambiguous requirements, missing edge cases, and unsupported scope decisions
  • Assess whether specifications provide sufficient guidance for design and engineering teams
  • Evaluate consistency between stated objectives and proposed functionality
  • Review product decisions involving competing opportunities, resources, and stakeholder priorities
  • Assess prioritisation frameworks and underlying assumptions
  • Evaluate whether trade-offs are clearly explained and professionally defensible
  • Identify cases where frameworks are applied mechanically without sufficient product judgement
  • Review decisions across discovery, delivery, growth, and platform contexts
  • Evaluate spreadsheets and analyses supporting product decisions
  • Review KPIs, success metrics, assumptions, and supporting calculations
  • Assess whether quantitative evidence is used appropriately
  • Identify inconsistencies between underlying data and stated conclusions
  • Evaluate whether selected metrics meaningfully reflect product performance or outcomes
  • Evaluate product documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks for accuracy, clarity, and completeness
  • Review executive presentations for logical flow and decision usefulness
  • Identify factual, analytical, aesthetic, and formatting issues
  • Assess whether charts, tables, and visuals accurately represent underlying analysis
  • Ensure recommendations are clearly connected to evidence and stated objectives
  • Assess assigned outputs against domain-specific quality criteria
  • Identify strategic, analytical, factual, and presentation errors
  • Distinguish substantive product-management weaknesses from minor editorial issues
  • Provide clear, structured written feedback explaining identified strengths and weaknesses
  • Apply evaluation standards consistently across different product-management work products
