About The Position

We are sharing a specialised part-time consulting opportunity for experienced clinical, biomedical, and pharmaceutical professionals with strong expertise in scientific analysis, clinical research, evidence interpretation, and professional work-product review. This role focuses on reviewing professional documents, spreadsheets, and presentation materials involving clinical, biomedical, and pharmaceutical topics. Selected experts will assess outputs for scientific accuracy, analytical rigour, evidentiary support, presentation quality, and overall professional credibility.

Requirements

5+ years of relevant professional experience in clinical research, biomedical science, pharmaceutical research, drug development, or a closely related field
Strong practical understanding of clinical or biomedical research workflows
Ability to evaluate scientific evidence, data interpretation, and technical conclusions
Experience reviewing research reports, clinical materials, scientific analyses, or pharmaceutical work products
Strong analytical judgement and attention to scientific detail
Highly proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
Advanced proficiency with PowerPoint / Google Slides
Strong spreadsheet and analytical skills
Native or professional fluency in English
Excellent written communication and ability to provide precise, structured feedback

Nice To Haves

Master's degree or higher from a recognised institution is advantageous

Responsibilities

Evaluate work products involving clinical research and biomedical science
Assess scientific accuracy, completeness, and consistency of presented information
Identify unsupported claims, factual errors, and gaps in clinical or scientific reasoning
Review whether conclusions appropriately reflect the available evidence
Apply professional judgement to realistic clinical and biomedical scenarios
Review materials involving pharmaceutical research, drug development, and related scientific workflows
Assess the quality and credibility of analyses and recommendations
Identify inaccurate assumptions or inconsistencies in pharmaceutical content
Evaluate whether scientific conclusions are appropriately supported
Review complex technical information for professional accuracy and usability
Evaluate interpretation of clinical findings, study results, and supporting evidence
Assess whether conclusions are proportionate to the underlying data
Identify overstatement, unsupported causal claims, or incomplete interpretation
Review consistency between quantitative findings and written conclusions
Evaluate how effectively uncertainty and limitations are communicated
Assess spreadsheets containing clinical, biomedical, or pharmaceutical data
Review calculations, assumptions, tables, and supporting analyses for consistency
Identify discrepancies between underlying data and reported findings
Evaluate whether quantitative information is represented clearly and accurately
Ensure conclusions remain traceable to supporting evidence
Evaluate scientific reports, spreadsheets, and slide decks for accuracy and completeness
Review technical and stakeholder presentations for clarity and logical flow
Identify factual, analytical, aesthetic, and formatting issues
Assess whether charts, tables, and visuals accurately represent underlying information
Ensure scientific findings and recommendations are communicated clearly
Assess assigned outputs against domain-specific quality criteria
