About The Position

Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Product Specialist. The expected annual salary range for this role is $71000 - $105000 a year. This role is based at Eaton’s South Milwaukee, WI site and follows a weekly hybrid schedule of three days in office/two days at home. As a Product Specialist, you’ll turn customer requirements into clear, accurate, and compelling proposals for our Switchgear Overhead Recloser (OH) portfolio. You’ll work at the center of sales, engineering, and operations—solving problems, providing real time support, and helping customers move forward with confidence in a fast paced environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum one year of work experience in product support, customer service, inside sales, or proposal support
  • Only candidates residing within a 50 mile radius of South Milwaukee, WI will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a technical field from an accredited institution is a plus
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience using an ERP systems and a quotation system is preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year working with SAP would be a bonus
  • Four years or more of experience in product support, customer service, inside sales, or proposal support in a technical environment is desired
  • Experience in the commercial & industrial and utility markets would be a plus

Responsibilities

  • Build customer ready proposals that combine pricing, lead times, technical details, and commercial terms.
  • Partner closely with field sales to provide guidance, training, budget pricing, and presales technical support.
  • Clarify incomplete or complex requests and recommend product options, alternates, and accessories.
  • Support order accuracy, approval drawings, change requests, and ongoing customer needs.
  • Use customer and sales feedback to improve proposal quality and customer experience.
  • Maintain pricing accuracy, support process improvements, and uphold ISO standards.
  • Collaborate across engineering, scheduling, production, and quality teams to deliver solutions that work.
