Applied Visions is a software development company focused on creating visual solutions to solve complex problems across multiple industries. We are seeking a product specialist to assist in developing and maintaining a vision for the product and be responsible for communicating the vision to the scrum team. This extends from authoring user stories and acceptance criteria that deliver an outstanding user experience to maintaining a well-managed product backlog and development lifecycle to maximize team velocity. The ideal candidate must possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy; strong agile and process skills; someone who enjoys crafting user stories based on lots of inputs and constraints: product and UX vision, use cases, and development budget. The product specialist will coordinate with our clients, project engineers, quality assurance teams and development teams as well as project managers to ensure that business, quality and functional goals are met with each product milestone. The product specialist is responsible for the user facing design, usability, quality and delivery of a product or feature. The ideal candidate understands both the engineering and business side of the product release and is ultimately responsible for representing the end user’s needs.
