About The Position

Skechers is hiring a part-time Product Specialist, also known as a Sales Associate, for an entry-level retail role. The position focuses on engaging customers, providing excellent service, supporting store sales goals, and contributing to an inviting store environment. The starting hourly rate is $17.50, and the stated hourly pay range is $17.50.

The role includes personalized product guidance, cashier responsibilities, maintaining merchandise and displays, and staying informed about Skechers footwear, apparel, and accessories. Employees work collaboratively with the store team and may lift and carry shoes and boxes weighing up to 50 pounds occasionally, while standing for most of their shift. Flexible scheduling is offered, with evening and weekend availability required.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age at the time of application.
• Able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Eager to provide excellent customer service in an entry-level retail role.
• Driven to meet and exceed retail sales goals.
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable with cashier responsibilities.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in retail sales, customer service, or cashier roles is a plus but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers and provide personalized advice about Skechers products.
• Contribute to store and individual retail sales goals.
• Organize displays, restock shelves, and manage merchandise to maintain store presentation.
• Lift and carry shoes and boxes, including occasional lifting up to 50 pounds, and remain on feet for most of the shift.
• Process customer payments accurately and perform cashier duties.
• Stay informed about Skechers footwear, apparel, and accessories and share product information with customers.
• Collaborate with coworkers to create an inviting store environment that reflects Skechers' brand and standards.
