Girl Scouts - North Carolina Coastal Pines is seeking a Product Sales Manager to join its local council! Girl Scouts - North Carolina Coastal Pines represents 41 counties within North Carolina. Girl Scouts - North Carolina Coastal Pines, in partnership with Girl Scouts of the USA, has a mission to build girls of courage, confidence and character who make the world a better place. The Product Sales Manager is responsible for managing and supporting Girl Scouts – North Carolina Coastal Pine’s (GSNCCP) product sale campaigns including the Fall Product Sale, and the Cookie program. The Product Sales Manager also assists in increasing awareness, understanding, and visibility, of Girl Scouting internally and externally within the jurisdiction of the Council by enhancing opportunities for Girl Scouts implementing the Council’s product programs as well as ensuring maximum effectiveness and success in the product program in collaboration with the administrative volunteers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in sales, communication, and/or public relations
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Canva, Cognito, and other creative database management systems
  • Adaptable to learning new technology to keep up with the latest marketing trends.
  • Ability to work with and manage a diverse group of staff, volunteers, girls, and vendors.
  • Ability to work well in an interdepartmental team environment.
  • Actively support and promote the Council’s and GSUSA’s commitments to diversity and inclusion.
  • Be willing to obtain a GSUSA membership ($25 annually) upon employment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Fall Product Program by driving participation strategies, training Area Coordinators, creating resource guides, managing online user data, and coordinating final orders and deliveries with vendors and local agents.
  • Manage Cookie Program Booth Logistics by securing local and national corporate partnerships, overseeing the online booth lottery, managing alternative channels (DoorDash, Produce Box), and training Area Booth Coordinators to review troop locations.
  • Execute Signature Events and Recognition Programs including Service Unit Cookie Rallies, Superstar Destinations, High Achievers Club, the Top Seller Luncheon, and Operation Cookie Drop.
  • Support the Product Sales Director with regional manager training, coordinating cookie cupboard inventory delivery, and hosting workshops for volunteers and families.
  • Maintain Vendor and Financial Compliance by working with GSUSA licensed vendors and the internal accounting department to reconcile sales, payments, and supply deliveries in alignment with corporate standards.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally with Membership to recruit and train volunteers, and with Marketing to promote program participation and products.
  • Drive Council Goals and Culture by supporting membership and fund development targets while ensuring all volunteer and staff efforts reflect a deep commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
