The Product Sales Consultant will partner with financial professionals to provide value-added sales and marketing strategies aimed at building and maintaining their overall sales. This position will be responsible for achieving specific sales goals in commission-based products such as mutual funds, ETFs, annuities, life insurance, and alternative investments. The position requires strong consultative sales skills and an ability to assist financial professionals with sales ideas, prospecting techniques, overcoming sales objections, plan design options, product positioning, and determining the best approach to closing sales opportunities, including developing strategies for point-of-sale meetings. In addition to the focus on products, the Product Sales Consultant will also assist other Product Sales Consultants (Generalists) in providing first-level sales support, promotion, and recommendation to our financial professionals of other product lines, our advanced sales and financial planning resources, our advisory services platform, and our partner firms.
