About The Position

This is a full-time role for a Product Repair Technician in Simi Valley, CA. The position involves delivering efficient, compliant repair services on returned equipment, ensuring products meet regulatory and customer requirements. The role operates on a first shift schedule (Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm) and requires collaboration with production and quality stakeholders to drive timely turnarounds and continuous improvement. Requirements

2+ years of relevant experience
Ability to perform teardowns, overhauls, and functional testing
Ability to read, understand, and follow manuals, blueprints, and written work instructions
Proven troubleshooting skills to component level on complex electronic circuits
Proficiency with computers and ability to use all hand tools
Vocational training, apprenticeship, or equivalent experience in a related field

Nice To Haves

FAA Repair Station background
Experience with 5S and FOD-free work practices
SAP proficiency
Certifications such as J-STD-001 or IPC-610

Responsibilities

Perform teardowns, overhauls, and functional testing of repair station products and items
Ensure all repair work follows procedures and correct document revisions
Inspect, test, troubleshoot, and repair shop equipment as required
Document all repairs and re-certifications per regulatory, customer, and departmental requirements
Assist in developing and implementing product improvement initiatives
Complete required trainings to maintain job knowledge and skills
Maintain regular, consistent, and punctual attendance; support variable schedules including occasional nights/weekends as needed
