Experienced Product Repair Mod Tech (Structures/Composites) CMC
About The Position
Boeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for an Experienced Product Repair Mod Tech (Structures/Composites) to join our CMC team in Victorville, CA. This role involves aircraft mechanical component troubleshooting, repair procedures, and replacement of parts. It requires broad knowledge of aircraft sheet metal/structural modifications and repair, with a specific need for composite repair experience. The technician will receive limited technical guidance and will be responsible for entering relevant data in aircraft logs and records. Successful candidates must pass an assessment at the end of the training cycle.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in an aircraft composite repair role
- 3+ years of experience in aircraft mechanical repair procedures and replacement of parts
- 3+ years of experience in aircraft structural modifications and repair
- 3+ years of experience with aircraft tools such as test equipment, torque wrenches, dial indicators, micrometers, micro bonder, vacuum gauges, heat blankets
- 3+ years of experience with aerospace technical publications
- Ability to work variable shifts (i.e. scheduled and unscheduled overtime; weekends and holidays) to support mission requirements and workload
