Experienced Product Repair Mod Tech (Structures/Composites) CMC
About The Position
Boeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for an Experienced Product Repair Mod Tech (Structures/Composites) to join our CMC team in Victorville, CA. This role involves aircraft mechanical component troubleshooting, repair procedures, and replacement of parts. It requires broad knowledge of aircraft sheet metal/structural modifications and repair, with a specific need for composite repair experience. The technician will receive limited technical guidance and will be responsible for entering relevant data in aircraft logs and records. A key part of this position is the ability to pass an assessment at the end of the training cycle.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in an aircraft composite repair role
- 3+ years of experience in aircraft mechanical repair procedures and replacement of parts
- 3+ years of experience in aircraft structural modifications and repair
- 3+ years of experience with aircraft tools such as test equipment, torque wrenches, dial indicators, micrometers, micro bonder, vacuum gauges, heat blankets
- 3+ years of experience with aerospace technical publications
- Ability to work variable shifts (i.e. scheduled and unscheduled overtime; weekends and holidays) to support mission requirements and workload
