About The Position

Our client is looking for a Product Quality Investigator & FA Tester to investigate field quality problems on vehicles in the market and to run customer-focused function acceptance testing on new and revised in-car functions.

Requirements

• Experience of automotive aftermarket and quality issue resolution work.
• B.Sc. in engineering or equivalent experience.
• Strong communication skills for issue reporting.
• Good awareness of practical implications of GDPR legislation.
• Root cause analysis and in-car fault tracing skills.
• Experienced user of automotive diagnostic tools.
• Driver’s licence for passenger vehicles and a well-developed ability to assess vehicle functions.
• Available for on-site work on the west coast of Sweden, longterm full-time (100%).

• Flexible to work both in-car and at the desktop.
• Able to travel to dealerships and meet customers, with strong business acumen.
• Comfortable with up to 2–3 trips per month within northern Europe.

Responsibilities

• Perform product quality investigations: describe the problem to be solved and provide data that aids resolution, including reproduction of issues.
• Manage product improvement issues within the technical area in Jira and GQMP systems.
• Perform advanced fault tracing and provide technical support to the aftermarket organisation.
• Perform in-car customer acceptance testing of new or revised vehicle functions prior to introduction.
• Support failure mode analysis, root cause analysis for field quality problems, and propose containment actions.
