Requirements

3+ years' experience in a project management environment.
Expertise in Project Management related software and applications, including MS Project, and the MS Office suite of products (Excel, Word, Visio, PowerPoint, etc.).
Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent, relevant experience.

Responsibilities

Manages Smart Monitor (SMON) tool used to maintain project pipeline of ~2K rate, rule, form and other projects for Personal Lines EA and IA channels.
May lead/ mentor and develop a small team who support SMON management.
Coordination with Country Wide and Underwriting to layer new initiatives into existing project pipeline.
Lead rate revision meetings with state management teams, actuarial, IT, filing, and other teams to support on time delivery of projects.
Develop new timelines for projects based on delays or changing requirements.
Maintain awareness of organizational initiatives.
To the extent capable, act as a SME on processes and systems, and educate partners.
Analyzes performance to recommend improvements to project execution processes.
Build data driven reporting to support capacity planning, prioritization.
Herd cats as needed.
Manage successful execution of medium to large-scale, multi-functional projects to support various initiatives across enterprise, in partnership with business leadership.
Establish and manage a project team (including its reporting/organizational structure) and define roles and responsibilities of the team members.
Integrate all team members and multi-functional departments, to ensure collaboration and alignment, with occasional guidance from leadership and peers.
Develop comprehensive project, communication, and change management plans.
Effectively manage the project scope, schedule, and budget.
Effectively manage or mitigate project issues and risk.
Identify key project metrics and establish process to measure/report results.
