About The Position
The Product Owner works closely with agile development teams and is the nexus between Product, Development, User Experience and Documentation. In this role, you will be responsible for making sure teams are working on the right things at the right time to deliver the best possible products to our customers. AI tools are a core part of how our Product Owners operate, from requirements gathering and story writing to release documentation and beyond.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience working with products
- Experience with Bullhorn products
- Experience working on Onboarding Software
- Comfortable participating in a technical conversation regarding front end behavior, back-end logic and data structures
- Experience with Agile methodologies
- Embraced AI as a core part of how you work, using AI tools to sharpen your thinking and level up your product processes.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in Development or QA
- Experience working in an Enterprise B2B SaaS-based organization
- Experience working on CRM systems
- An undergraduate technical degree
- An MBA
- Experience with Bullhorn products
- Experience in the staffing and recruiting industry
Responsibilities
- A discovery call with users to validate the UX for a new feature
- Writing user stories and going deep on requirements in grooming sessions with your team
- Leveraging AI throughout the product process to streamline feature delivery and keep the backlog sharp
- Attending Standups with agile development teams
- Writing release documentation & training cross-functional teams on new product enablement
- Working with Product Managers, Architects, UX Designers & Developers to drive product development
- Defining release and sprint goals for development team(s)
- Owning all operational aspects of agile development: epic breakdown, story planning & writing, sprint planning & delivery
- Leveraging AI to generate story maps, draft ticket descriptions, and baseline acceptance criteria directly from epic briefs
- Managing and resolving customer & internally reported product escalations.
- Balancing resolution priority against roadmap commitments
- Ensuring the development team understands the value and impact of their work
- Using AI to draft release notes and release decks ahead of launch
