About The Position

Sanofi is undergoing a significant digital transformation, with a focus on accelerating data transformation and adopting AI/ML solutions to enhance R&D, manufacturing, and commercial performance. A key part of this strategy is modernizing US Gross-to-Net (GTN) capabilities, moving towards AI-powered, connected, end-to-end GTN insights, forecasting, reconciliation, and decision support. This role will lead a portfolio of AI and analytics products for the US GTN function, including GTN CLARITY, GTN COMPASS, and Dynamic GTN Forecasting. The Product Owner will be responsible for the product vision, strategy, and roadmap, ensuring alignment with various leadership teams. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in AI/ML-driven analytics, strong product leadership, and the ability to shape digital solutions for complex, regulated environments. This role is crucial in advancing analytics and AI solution development, implementing best practices (including responsible AI), and driving strategic initiatives for reliability and scalability.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in digital product management focused on AI/GenAI, advanced analytics, or large-scale data products.
  • 7+ years building complex digital or data-driven solutions, ideally in finance, pricing, forecasting, or pharmaceutical commercial analytics.
  • Strong understanding of U.S. Pharmaceutical Market Access strategies, GTN processes (claims, rebates, accruals, forecasting, payer contracts, chargebacks).
  • Hands-on familiarity with AI/ML solution design, predictive modeling concepts, and analytics platforms.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills with executive-level communication.
  • Proven ability to drive digital transformation in large matrixed environments.
  • Attention to detail & technical intuition.
  • Strong knowledge of Lean/Agile practices, UX/UI principles, and application integration.
  • Experience with data engineering and analytics stacks (Python, SQL, Spark, cloud data lakes).
  • Understanding of forecasting frameworks, scenario modeling, variance decomposition, and reconciliation workflows.
  • Familiarity with GTN-related data (APLD, SPM, IQVIA, payer hierarchy, 340B, rebates).
  • Ability to work with AI-driven insights, natural language interfaces, and ML-enabled forecasting.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development, delivery, and scaling of AI and analytics-based GTN products, including GTN CLARITY, GTN COMPASS, and Dynamic GTN Forecasting, ensuring solutions meet user needs across Finance, Pricing, Access Analytics, and GTMC.
  • Collaborate with GTN CoE, Finance, Pricing, Access Analytics, Brand GMs, and GTMC teams to understand pain points, define requirements, and co-design scalable GTN solutions.
  • Identify, assess, and prioritize GTN use cases (retrospective, prospective, forecasting, reconciliation, monitoring) based on business value, feasibility, and data readiness.
  • Define and execute the end-to-end product vision for a connected GTN ecosystem, ensuring alignment with enterprise digital strategy.
  • Drive standardization across GTN workflows, dashboards, forecasting logic, and reconciliation engines for consistency and reuse.
  • Collaborate with Data Engineering, Data Science, UX, AI/RAISE, Solution Architecture, and Responsible AI teams to leverage reusable components and ensure platform interoperability.
  • Own multi-product roadmaps, including market-driven enhancements, migration to USDF, scaling CLARITY to new brands, and vendor selection for forecasting platforms, managing budgets, resources, and sequencing.
  • Define KPIs and ensure measurable business impact through improved GTN accuracy, reduced variance, automation of manual workflows, and enhanced decision-making.
  • Influence senior stakeholders and ensure GTN tools support governance processes such as Actuals Review, Access & Investment Boards, Strategic Access Forums, and bid-cycle preparation.
  • Foster partnerships and close collaboration between cross-functional teams (GBU Brand teams, Digital, business operations, market teams) and drive structured ways of working.
  • Work closely and constructively with other development teams (Accelerator, AI COEs, Data Engineering COE, and Responsible AI COE).
  • Empower teams to set up lean but effective teams and efficient local governance.
  • Help build and develop a team that uses complementary strengths and develops novel solutions to core business problems.
