Finance Partner – Gross to Net

About The Position

This is a highly visible finance role that allows you to build partnerships with the business, help influence senior stakeholders and shape strategic business plans. The Gross to Net Finance Partner provides strategic guidance around both future-looking contract and pricing decisions and management of current obligations, managing the multi-billion-dollar Gross-to-Net P&L item. This role supports the US Gross to Net Team on all aspects of finance business partnering and provides financial assistance to the business units (BUs).

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5+ years’ financial partnering experience
  • Demonstrated financial knowledge and experience including analysis, evaluation, forecasting, strategic planning and decision making

  • Understanding of the US Pharmaceutical Industry Access and reimbursement, Brand launches, Classic/established brand management, Loss of exclusivity management experience, and/or Experience supporting vaccines, small molecule, or large molecule products
  • 6+ years financial partnering experience within the Pharmaceutical Industry, especially within the GSK/ViiV’s portfolio’s therapy areas
  • Professional finance qualification (e.g., ACCA, ACA, CIMA, CPA)

Responsibilities

  • Assist with Market / BU Strategy, support development of overall strategy for BU contracting and drive new contracting strategies.
  • Brand Portfolio Analysis, Strategic Portfolio Analysis.
  • Partner with Market Access and Account teams and BU Finance Partners on contract proposals and pricing strategies.
  • Support contract pricing decision making by analyzing/understanding commercial impact of decisions.
  • Ensure alignment of contract pricing decisions and market dynamics to forecasts.
  • Support US BU Finance Partners and other central BU finance partners and assist with management presentations.
  • Navigate and manage in a cross function matrixed environment.
