Around 150 "Glücksbringerinnen und Glücksbringer" (luck bringers) work every day in the Hanover Lotto central office for innovative, state-authorized, responsible lottery offerings in Lower Saxony.

Requirements

• Successfully completed studies in (business) informatics or a successfully completed apprenticeship in the IT sector with very good results.
• Professional experience in software testing and/or test management, ideally in the digital or e-commerce sector.
• Experience with common test management tools and ideally with test automation.
• Strong interest in software testing and enjoyment of delving deeply into quality aspects and test processes.
• Analytical thinking skills and an independent, meticulous way of working.
• A confident and appreciative demeanor in communication with stakeholders, internal specialist departments, external service providers, and within the team.
• High level of commitment and self-reliant work ethic.

Nice To Haves

• Ideally certifications in software testing, e.g., ISTQB or similar.

Responsibilities

• Planning, controlling, and further developing the entire test management for LOTTO Niedersachsen's digital sales.
• Conception and continuous improvement of test strategies, processes, and methods with a focus on end-to-end process and scenario tests along complete customer journeys in digital sales.
• Further development and utilization of existing test management and test automation tools in close cooperation with external and internal development and QA.
• Ensuring software quality through structured test planning, execution, documentation, and evaluation, as well as transparent communication of the quality status to stakeholders.
• Coordination of functional test activities for the respective releases, including coordination of user acceptance tests with specialist departments and customer management.
• Analysis of errors and test results, as well as derivation of sustainable measures for quality improvement.
• Establishment and further development of best practices in software testing and in the continuous improvement of test processes.
