About The Position

As the Product Owner, IT Restaurant Systems, you will play a key role in defining the product vision and roadmap. Through high-touch collaboration with key stakeholders and partners, you will innovate and deliver high-impact solutions. Using Agile methodologies, you’ll collaborate closely with stakeholders to ensure projects align with industry trends and best practices. You will be responsible for managing the product roadmap, prioritizing work, and driving the successful delivery of features that enhance restaurant systems. Your insights will guide the team to estimate and deliver user stories, ensuring all solutions meet business objectives.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • 1-3 years of experience as a Business Analyst or POS Restaurants Systems Analyst required.
  • Experience creating features and user stories with CA, Rally, Jira, Azure, DevOps, or similar tools for managing Agile Boards.
  • Strong understanding of agile methodologies.
  • Ability to stay organized, managing multiple projects and timelines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) from 4-year college or university preferred.
  • Scrum Product Owner certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a deep understanding of the Restaurant Systems products to guide meaningful conversations between the Scum teams and stakeholders, providing insights into the capabilities and limitations of the products.
  • Translate product requirements into actionable features and user stories, collaborating with the Scrum team to ensure timely delivery of milestones, track progress, and incorporate feedback from stakeholders.
  • Clearly communicate the product vision and roadmap to the team and stakeholders, ensuring alignment with the latest industry trends and best practices.
  • Manage new requests from stakeholders, refining the product backlog and prioritizing features and user stories that deliver the most value to the business.
  • Continuously refine the backlog to ensure it remains clearly defined, up to date, and aligned with business priorities.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, acting as a liaison between developers and external teams to ensure clear communication and efficient resolution of issues.
  • Collaborate with Agile leadership to foster continuous improvement across the teams.
