About The Position

The Product Owner II translates business needs into actionable user stories that enable development teams to deliver customer-focused solutions. The role manages and prioritizes the product backlog, collaborates with cross-functional stakeholders, and works closely with Product Managers and development teams to support product delivery aligned with product strategy and business objectives.

The position is based at an office location and requires travel up to 10% of the time. The selected candidate must be legally authorized to work in the United States and will be subject to preemployment drug and background screenings.

Requirements

• Previous experience serving as a Product Owner within a B2B SaaS environment.
• Background working as part of an Agile software development team.
• Demonstrated success collaborating within a cross-functional organization.
• Proven ability to support customer needs and communicate effectively with customers and stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of Agile software development principles and practices.
• Ability to translate business objectives into clear, actionable product requirements.
• Effective prioritization and organizational skills, including the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.
• Ability to build productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Sound judgment and decision-making skills when evaluating product priorities and solutions.
• Customer-focused approach to gathering requirements and delivering business value.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

• 2–4 years of professional experience supporting B2B SaaS products is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Translate business problems and requirements into prioritized user stories for development teams.
• Facilitate cross-functional discussions to define and document user stories with the appropriate level of detail.
• Prioritize and sequence development work to align with product strategy, project goals, and delivery timelines.
• Partner with Quality Assurance to define and validate acceptance criteria.
• Research and respond to questions from Product Design, Development, and Quality Assurance teams.
• Collaborate directly with customers and conduct market research to clarify requirements and validate proposed solutions, as needed.
• Refine user stories to ensure development teams have the information needed for implementation.
• Partner with Product Management, Development, and User Experience teams to support scope definition and feature delivery.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
